Fantasticism

Artists: Neha Choksi, Jacci Den Hartog, Tony de los Reyes, Rebecca Niederlander, Johan Nobell, Jared Pankin, Michael Pierzynski

The exhibition will feature paintings, sculpture, and installation work by seven artists who are creating images and scenarios within their work based on the natural world but that depart into flights of fantasy. The artists use various strategies including the isolation of elements, odd juxtapositions, theatrical presentation, and painterly inventiveness, to both involve themselves in the everyday and move beyond it into the world of the fantastic.
