Steve DeGroodt: Alluvial

Alluvial

Steve DeGroodt will exhibit new sculptures and drawings using a wide range of materials that play off of each to create works that straddle the line between the formal and the organic. The materials, including plaster, cloth, branches, paper, and wood, always retain their original identity but also set up poetic juxtapositions that allows DeGroodt to abstractly consider life's subtext. The exhibition will be accompanied by a new publication with an essay by Michael Duncan.

Steve DeGroodt has recently exhibited at Art Affairs, Amsterdam, Peter Blake Gallery, Laguna Beach, and LA Louver, Venice.
